Besides many sightseeing-highlights of Innsbruck there are many attractions Tyrol has to offer, each can be reached easily by car, bus or train from Mutters. We would like to introduce you to some of the most beautiful and interesting sights:
On the Bergisel (3 km from Mutters) you will find the Tyrol-Panorama – a giant 360° painting built in a modern museum that lets you takes you back in time to experience the history of Tyrol.
Castle Ambras can be seen above Innsbruck, located in a beautiful park – this medieval castle is one of Tyrol´s most visited sights.
The alpine zoo at the foot of the Nordkette mountain ranges lets you experience the local wildlife in an interactive and stunning environment. It is open daily and can be reached directly from the city center with the new Hungerburg funicular.
The city of Hall is just east of Innsbruck and is famous for its minting tower. The medieval flair of the city can be found in narrow walking streets offering restaurants, shops and beautiful sights.
The world famous Swarovski Crystal Worlds are located in the town of Wattens. This unique Attraction is constantly being modernized and is definitely one of Austria’s highlights.
Further east of Innsbruck you will also find Tyrol´s smallest city; Rattenberg and the old mining town of Schwaz with its silver mines that can be explored or castle Tratzberg.
